Bistro 42 Food Truck – Authentic French Sandwiches & Fresh Flavors in Troy, NY

Fantastic roadside sandwich truck! My ham, butter and Brie on a baguette was great and the fries beat any fast food place. The owner was super friendly and even showed us a gated side yard we could sit in and have our pups off the leash. Would absolutely return!

I was nearby and looking for a quick meal. Parking was easy on the street and the poutine was delicious! Will absolutely recommend and save for next time

Amazing food very well seasoned and fresh. I got the special today with hot sausage, peppers, onions on a french baguette I knew by the smell it was good before I even tasted it. Highly recommend.

We were driving through on our way home to WV and stumbled upon this food truck when looking for a place to stop and have lunch. We were so impressed! The food was delicious and there were little tables set up to eat outside. The chef and his wife were also super friendly.

Great food truck at the top of Rt 7, totally worth the stop. food is fresh, and the man making it holds a great conversation,. In my opinion is cheap for the quality and offerings of the sandwiches, you’d pay about the same price at a commercial sub shop for highly processed ingredients. There’s chairs and tables set out to enjoy there or take away is available. Highly Recommend to any sandwich lover!

Caught lunch here as we were driving through on a road trip and am so glad we stopped! Baguette sandwich was absolutely perfect with quality ingredients, and some of the best fries I’ve ever had. Owner was very friendly.

My husband and I were driving home from our Maine vacation and spotted the Bistro 42 food truck and decided to give it a try for dinner. Wow were we impressed! The fresh homemade baguettes for our sandwiches were baking as we placed our order, what a difference fresh bread makes! I had the Turkey sandwich and my husband had the Fromage sandwich and as we devoured these incredible sandwiches, both of us repeatedly kept saying to each other between bites how amazing these sandwiches are! Our only regret is we didn’t try the Lobster Bisque. We wish we lived closer, but we will definitely plan future trips out that way around their dining schedule. They also have a bunch of cute tables so you can either dine in, take it home, or eat in your car. We started eating before we thought to take pictures so please excuse that they are partially eaten.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. Not only was the food delicious and the service wonderful, these guys went above and beyond. I left my credit card there. Not only did they call me and let me know, but when we explained we came from a distance, they mailed it to us for free. Not only did they mail it but they wrapped it up in paper so that no one could see through the envelope. Would definitely go there again. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!
